The story is set in London in 1880, at the height of the Victorian era.

Alexander Ashòn a famous jeweler is a peaceful person and respected by everyone

He is engaged with Duchess of Kant, Elizabeth, Alexander leads a quiet life

love with Natalie, a girl from the orphanage with whom he took care of two young

Listening to these words of Alexander's heart get confusing because this sentence is

a secred code between he and Natalie from they was child, so intrigued by this weird

request and from the jewel, Alexander decide to seek in the crowd who is the woman

who wear his necklace, he find her and even if she is changed a lot he recognize Natalie . 

Alexander makes himself knowing from Natalie, but even if both are still in love, they

are aware that now are commited with others, Natalie is married to a famous banker,

Alexander do not want to expose her to a pubblic shame so he decides to not live his

love and leave her alone, but having see Natalie again and knowing in his heart that

can not live without her, without not tell the truth to Elizabeth, leave her alone too

because he can not be a hypocrite and want that girl have the opportunity to marry

someone that truly love her . 

The dissolution of the engagement let infuriates the mother of Elizabeth, Margaret,

who is determined at all costs to get her revenge Against Alexander.

For Alexander stay away from Natalie is a torment so he decide to go from her

husband for to tell everything and get her back, but Natalie prevents him, Alexander

talking with her husband, he discovers that Natalie and her husband will travel to

St. Petersburg because Natalie's husband was called from his company to manage

a new bank branch in St. Petersburg where he, being sure to be a good deal invest

his entire fortune too. Alexander is determined to follow Natalie, in meantime even the

Countess Margaret and her daughter Elizabeth follow Alexander for get their revenge .

In St. Petersburg, Alexander accidentally meets Fabergè at the Hermitage theater

and he is invited to spend the Easter with him and his family. After lunch Fabergè,

Alexander and all Fagerbè family goes at the polo club where he meet again Natalie

and rescues her from a runaway horse, consciuous that both can not stay away each other,

they will do an agreetment that it would be good to talk to Natalie's husband and

explain the situation, because this time Natalie want to left him for stay with Alexander .

They decide to tell everything to William, the Natalie's husband, at party of Tzar

where everyone of them would be present, but in the evening event, before Natalie and

Alexander would talk with William, he is hit by a heart attack because of the news of

his financial collapse and die.

Margaret having discovered the whole story between Alexander and Natalie,

she is determined more than ever to take her revenge and on the occasion of the

Natalie's husband's funeral, she wounds with a knife Alexander in very serious way,

so he goes into a coma, Natalie for bankruptcy of her husband loses all her money

and all its assets are auctioned, including the precious necklace of Alexander,

who is bought from the generous Fabergè with plans to donate them to Natalie again.

To survive Natalie is forced to work, despite her adoptive parents had insisted that

she should go home with them, Natalie refuses because she know in her heart

that sooner or later, Alexander would found her and would return from her,

one day while working as Red Cross nurse Natalie, she get lost in the hospital

ward where Alexander is in a coma

Alexander, just listen her voice, he get out from the coma he discovers that Faberge

and his wife had visited him every day, in meantime, Natalie had made everyone

believe she had returned to France from her parents, Alexander even if he still recovering

from the coma, he goes to travel agency to buy the ticket for the France and get Natalie

back,his attention is attracted by a guitar, and entered a shop he decides to buy it,

Natalie who was in that street recognizes the voice of Alexander who playing the guitar

and song the sing when they was child and both was in the orphanage, so they meet

each other and come together, both are now free to live their love story. Alexander must

to back to work so, he must to leave for Monaco, because King Albert requires his

professionalism for a crown that he would give the Queen on the occasion of her birthday, 

so he goes and keep Natalie with him 

At Monaco King Albert captured by the kindness and nobility soul of Alexander, he

decides to organize a wedding a surprise for him and Natalie, the two get married and go

ice hotel to consume their honeymoon.

Still in Monaco Alexander and Natalie tracking Stephanie, she was one of two little

children who formed the " family " of Alexander and Natalie in the orphanage, both learn

from Stephanie that little Paul is died. The pain is so strong for both, and being Natalie

aware that she is not being able to have children, Alexander and Natalie decide to adopt

an orphan child Paul who look like the child died 

Natalie begins to suffer with her health and discover with great surprise instead that

she is unexpected pregnancy, Margaret continues to haunt Alexander determined to

smash his newfound serenity and happiness with Natalie. Alexander and Fabergé are

committed with the foundation of Count John Christopher Dunavant Lord of Scotland

( lead of the foundation ) and to raise funds give a charity auction for help the orphanages

of many parts of the world. In the party after the action, here Margaret with an exuse

she gets invite for go at Natalie's house.

The day after the auction Margaret goes to the Natalie's home and Alexander the

woman in an attempt to still attack Alexander knocks badly Natalie procuring to her

an give birth early.

The baby ( Alena ) born and it seems that everything is resolved for the better until

Natalie was hit by a rare form of meningitis contracted during her voluntary work as Red

Cross nurse in St. Petersburg and following which dies a few days after the birth of Alena 

Destroyed Alexander wants to kill himself but having promised to Natalie before she

died to take care of the children react and after lived the whole life alone, tired on

Natalie's grave, he confesses  his eternal love with a poem and the phrase from here

to eternity and after this words he dies on her grave
